"BRING A BUDDY" PROGRAM

In an effort to increase participation and, therefore, the competitive integrity of the Connecticut Senior Games, we are offering the “Bring a Buddy” Program for the 2009 event.

The “Bring a Buddy” Program, if successful, will not only achieve the aforementioned goal, but also make the Games more affordable for athletes who take advantage of this new offering.

“Bring a Buddy”:  Any athlete who registers for a sport will save money e.g.:

                        Individual Sport: 

                                    Athlete #1      Badminton      Fee $35.00

                                    “Buddy”          Badminton      Fee $17.50 (1/2 the price)

                                    Total                                       $52.50

                                                                Each participant pays $26.25

                        Team Sport:

                                    Team #1         Softball           Fee $350.00

                                    “Buddy”          Team              Fee $175.00 (1/2 the price)

                                    Total                                         $525.00

                                                                Each TEAM pays $262.50
 

In order to qualify as a “Buddy” athlete, the “Buddy” can not have participated in the Connecticut Senior Games in 2006 ,2007, or 2008.

NOTE:  The “Buddy” program applies only to like sport registrations (Individual or Team) e.g. a Badminton individual sport athlete may not bring a softball team as his/her ”Buddy”

The "Buddy" program does NOT apply to Golf.

When registering for the “Bring a Buddy” program both registration forms must be sent together with the appropriate fees
