From the west (NYC via I-84, Danbury, etc.):
Take I-84 east to exit 48, Capitol Avenue. At the traffic light at the end of the exit ramp turn left. Go to the first traffic light (at Washington Street) and turn right (at statue of Lafayette on horse). Proceed straight ahead on Washington Street for 8 traffic lights (total of 1.1 miles), passing hospital complex on left. At 8th light, turn right onto New Britain Avenue. Go .3 miles to the next traffic light at Broad Street. If you want to reach buildings and parking areas in the southeastern part of the campus (e.g., Austin Arts Center, Ferris Athletic Center), turn right onto Broad Street, look for the Trinity College gate, and turn left into the driveway. If you want to reach the western and northern areas of campus (Admissions and other administrative offices), proceed on New Britain Avenue to traffic light at Summit Street. Turn right, between the brick gateposts, into campus.

From the east (Boston, etc.):
Take I-84 west and keep to the right once you reach Hartford and travel through a short tunnel. After tunnel take exit 48, Asylum Avenue. At the end of the exit, turn left onto Asylum Street. Staying in the right-hand lane, follow the roadway to the right, hugging Bushnell Park. Bear right through the brownstone arch onto Trinity Street. Staying in the left lane, go to the second stoplight. The Bushnell Memorial Hall will be on your left, the State Capitol on your right. Turn left past the statue of Lafayette on horseback onto Washington Street. Proceed straight ahead on Washington Street for 8 traffic lights (total of 1.1 miles), passing hospital complex on left. At 8th light, turn right onto New Britain Avenue. Go .3 miles to the next traffic light at Broad Street. If you want to reach buildings and parking areas in the southeastern part of campus (e.g., Austin Arts Center, Ferris Athletic Center), turn right onto Broad Street, look for the Trinity College gate, and turn left into the driveway. If you want to reach the western and northern areas of campus (Admissions and other administrative offices), proceed on New Britain Avenue to traffic light at Summit Street. From the south (New Haven, New York, etc.):
Take I-91 north to I-84 west, then follow the directions "From the east."

From the north (Springfield, Bradley Airport, etc.):
Take I-91 south to I-84 west, then follow the directions "From the east."

When leaving campus:
To get back to both I-84 and I-91, take Broad or Summit Street to New Britain Avenue, turning left on New Britain Avenue and then left onto Washington Street. When you reach the intersection with Capitol Avenue (Lafayette's horse will be on your left, the Capitol will be straight ahead), turn left, following the signs for I-84. Staying in the right lane, follow Capitol Ave. The entrance ramp for I-84 west is on the right. Proceed a little further and turn right onto Broad Street to reach the entrance ramp for I-84 east, which leads to I-91 north and south.

From the North: Take I-91 South to Hartford to I-84 EAST (Exit 32 - Left Exit). Follow I-84 East to Exit 58, ROBERTS STREET/SILVER LANE. On the Exit Ramp, Turn right at the stoplight and then get in the center or left lanes. Turn left on SILVER LANE.  AMF Silver Lanes will be about 1/2 mile on your left..

From the South: Take I-91 North toward Hartford to Route 15 North/to I-84 East/Charter Oak Bridge (Exit 29). Merge left onto Route 15. After the bridge, take Exit 91 SILVER LANE. Turn right at end of ramp onto Silver Lane. Follow Silver Lane past the Entrance to Pratt & Whitney. Once past the Pratt & Whitney entrance, go about 1/2 of a mile and AMF Silver Lanes will be on your Left.

From the Southwest: Take either I-84 East or I-91 North. Follow directions above from the South. From Route 15 North, follow to Exit 91 SILVER LANE. Turn right at end of ramp onto Silver Lane. Follow Silver Lane past the entrance to Pratt & Whitney. Once past the Pratt & Whitney entrance, go about 1/2 of a mile and AMF Silver Lanes will be on your left.

From the East I-384 : Take Route 6 West or Route 44 West to I-384 West. Follow I-384 West to Manchester. Take Exit 1 SPENCER STREET. Turn left at end of exit ramp onto Spencer Street. Follow Spencer Street onto SILVER LANE in East Hartford. Follow Silver Lane to AMF Silver Lanes which will be on your right.
I-84: Take I-84 West toward HARTFORD to Exit 58, ROBERTS STREET/SILVER LANE. At the end of the Exit Ramp, turn left onto Roberts Street and follow to SILVER LANE. Turn left on Silver Lane. Go about 1/2 of a mile and AMF Silver Lanes will be on your left.

From the Southeast: VIA Route 2
Take Route 2 West toward HARTFORD. Take Exit 5A, MAIN STREET. Continue on Main Street for several miles. Turn right onto SILVER LANE. Follow Silver Lane past the entrance to Pratt & Whitney. Once past the Pratt & Whitney entrance, go about 1/2 of a mile and AMF Silver Lanes will be on your left.

From the West: Take I-84 East toward HARTFORD. Follow I-84 East to Exit 58, ROBERTS STREET/SILVER LANE. On the Exit Ramp, turn right at the stoplight and then get in the center or left lanes. Turn left on Silver Lane. Go about 1/2 of a mile and AMF Silver Lanes will be on your left.

From I-91 North or South:                                                                                                                                                                              Take I-91 to Hartford, Take I-84 West then continue on I-84 West to Exit 35 for Route 72, New Britain.  Follow Route 72 to the exit for Columbus Boulevard, turn right off the exit and take the road to the end.  Take a right onto West Main Street and take a quick left into the driveway. Go up the hill to the park and you will see the Shell station on the left.

From I-84 East or West:                                                                                                                                                                                  Take exit 35 off of 84 for Route 72, New Britain.  Follow Route 72 to the exit for Columbus Boulevard, turn right off the exit and take the road to the end.  Take a right onto West Main Street and take a quick left into the driveway. Go up the hill to the park and you will see the Shell station on the left.

From Merritt Parkway/Rte.15  North: Exit 63.At end of ramp, take right onto Clintonville Rd./Rte.22.At first light, take right onto State St. and follow to first stop sign.Take left onto Broadway at stop sign and follow under overpass.  First right after overpass is Elm St.  We are at 100 Elm, quarter mile down on the right.

From Merritt Parkway( Wilbur Cross Parkway)/Rte.15 South: Exit 63.At end of ramp, take left onto Hartford Turnpike.  At first light, take immediate left onto Clintonville Rd./Rte.22.(crossing back over highway) At second light, take right onto State St. and follow to first stop sign.  Take left onto Broadway at stop sign and follow under overpass. First right after overpass is Elm St. We are at 100 Elm, quarter mile down on right.

From Interstate 91 North: Take Exit 11 ramp and stay to right.  At first light, take right on Washington Ave.  At next light, take right on Broadway. First left off Broadway is Elm St. We are at 100 Elm, quarter mile down on right.

From Interstate 95 North/South: Take exit for Interstate 91 north and follow directions immediately above.

From Interstate 91 South: Take Exit 12 and take left off ramp onto Washington Ave. Follow down through five traffic lights.  At six light, take right onto Broadway.  First left off Broadway is Elm St.. We are at 100 Elm, quarter mile down on right.

take rte 15 -(the parkway) OR I-95 north (east) to I-91 North. take 91 North to exit 22s (route 9 to Middletown) take rte 9 SOUTH to exit 12 (Silver Street) Go east (left) at end of southbound exit ramp Continue east about 1.1 miles on Silver Street (which joins/becomes River Rd.) past WMRD radio to Riverview Hospital - right into main Hospital Drive

From Groton/New London and SE CT:
take rte 9 north to exit 12 then take Eastern Drive NORTH to Silver Street. Go east (right) about 1.1 miles on Silver Street -(which joins/becomes River Road) past WMRD Radio to Riverview Hospital - right into main Hospital Drive

From Hartford area:

take 91 south to exit 22s (route 9). take rte 9 SOUTH to exit 12 (Silver Street) Go east (left) at end of southbound exit ramp Continue east about 1.1 miles on Silver Street (which joins/becomes River Rd.) Past WMRD Radio to Riverview Hospital - Go right into main Hospital Drive

From New Haven area:

MAIN DIRECTIONS - at the Riverview Hospital:

Make a right into the Riverview hospital main entrance Follow the signs to the School-West Building (Take the third right from the main drive) Park in front of the School in it's parking lot - The gym is behind the 'School-West' building, Walk around the right side on the sidewalk to the separate gym doors in the right rear of the school - the main school doors are usually locked during our activities.
